5. Conclusion

Research connecting Jeju mythology with the Atlantis myth resolves, in its own way, unsolved problems of ancient history. It makes sense of undeciphered ancient documents such as the Budoji and of relics such as Yonaguni, and beautifully unifies into one the many chronologies of East and West, past and present. However, since this differs in many respects from existing research, continued verification and study are needed.
